Rounded Rectangular Callout: When we say “inclusive/universal clothing design,” we mean that we have considered a range of needs when designing and manufacturing our clothing, from the most sensory sensitive, to the most typically developing children.
Oval Callout: Uncomfortable clothing should not get in the way of a child’s ability and desire to participate and be included in daily family, school, and community life. Many children with sensory sensitivity struggle with the textures, cuts, tags, and seams in even the most basic clothing.

What is inclusive/universal clothing design?

Rectangular Callout: A child that is uncomfortable in their clothing usually finds it difficult to attend to the task being taught in school, or even to focus and attend in social situations.
Sensory processing difficulties put children at risk for many emotional, social, and educational problems, including the inability to make friends or be a part of a group, a poor self-concept, academic challenges, and being labeled as uncooperative, belligerent, disruptive, or out of control. This behavior is often misunderstood by people who are unaware of this "hidden handicap." There are many treatment options, however, many insurance companies do not cover the cost of related therapies for ASD/SPD, and with ever-increasing diagnoses, there is a rising shortage of services and resources available.
